Weekend Roundup


Sunday, 7th of October, 2012.

At Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral (OF 1100) Durufle's Messe Cum Jubilo, and the motets Ego sum panis vivus and Ave verum corpus of Grayston Ives. At Vespers (1500) Speravi in te by Chris Hutchings (first performance). At S. Etheldreda's, Ely Place, (OF 1100) the first performance of Lloyd's Asperges me. At Westminster Cathedral Vespers (1530) the St Patrick's Magnificat of James MacMillan.

Saturday evening at 1930 the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Choir gives a concert containing many works from the recent Latin repertoire including; 

Cantate (Colin Mawby), Lux arumquae (Eric Whitacre), Ubi caritas (Morten Lauridsen), O sacrum convivium (Gabriel Jackson), Te lucis ante terminum (Humphrey Clucas), Ave Maria (Igor Stravinsky), Sedebit Rex & In splendoribus (James MacMillan).
